Help -- I Can't Hear My Guides!

I feel so lost and down. How can I connect to my spirit guides and hear them clearly? I'm trying and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Is it not trusting enough?

Dearest S.,

You are not doing anything wrong. It is not that you do not trust enough, but that you are not quite listening. The very fact that you feel lost and down is a very clear indicator that you are not hearing or following your own guidance. If you are feeling down, then you are not in alignment with your true self. If you are sad or angry, your predominant thought pattern is in direct opposition to what your true self and your guides would have you do or feel: which is always, at its root, to BE IN JOY.

Everyone receives messages from their guides in a different manner. Some people hear voices, some people find small visual messages through out the day (omens, or confirmations, such as hawks flying overhead when they have a certain thought, or the wind blowing just a bit harder at a particular moment, or a compelling ad on the TV.) Some people experience physical sensations such as a tap on their hand, or a tickle in their ear. And still others experience things in their gut, or just a simple “knowing”. For all, though, the emotions are a powerful indicator which allow one to see when they are on the right path or not. If you cannot sustain happiness, then you are not on the right path. Period.

And when you are persisting in doing and thinking that which draw you away from your self, that which makes you unhappy and joy-less, then you are distancing yourself from your guides, from your guidance system.

So the first thing we would tell you is to do something that makes you feel better. Do something that makes you smile. And then do it again. And then ask yourself and your guides what you can do to keep that feeling. And do that. And do it again. Everything will be as it will be. Trust your self. Trust your joy.

Meditating with the Mudras

What do you think of me meditating daily with the mudras? [Mudras are symbolic hand gestures used in spiritual practice to convey meaning or intent.] Is it a good idea? Do they really do anything, and is there something to be gained by using them every day?

The mudras are sensational tools – meaning they actually bring the physical (sensation) in contact with the divine spiritual, and merge the two. They allow you to focus intent in a very good way. As we have said before, anything which focuses intentions is useful, and the more something has been used, the more people it has been used by, the more powerful it becomes. Thoughts have mass, and when you bring them together they coalesce into something more powerful than they were when they were just one single thought. This is why group prayer is so powerful. This is why mass hysteria is so damaging. This is why chants used over and over over the centuries carry so much raw potential. In the same way, mudras have been used for thousands of years, the symbols have become as homing beacons for universal energy. Merely make the gesture of desire, and immediately the desire is being fulfilled.

Must you use them every day? Surely the longer you hold a thought, the more often you hold an intent, the stronger Source's response will be. But if it does not bring you joy, do not do it.

Meditate every day if you love it, if it is fun, if it challenges you in a way which makes your heart sing. When it becomes a chore, stop. And when you want to begin again, begin.

Begin.

Ah, we come to the heart of the matter. To the heart of all matter, we should say. The time of the deepest dark has always been one of mystery and ritual, one of both fear and rejoicing, one of power and powerlessness. Your people, the humans, have rarely been able to reconcile themselves to the shortened days of December, or winter. When the sun, your guiding angel, begins to retreat, you feel much like a reluctant babe being weaned from its mother's breast. You yearn for the warmth, the growth, the reassurance and feelings of safety that the Sun usually brings you. This is because you know, on a spiritual level, that the Sun is the Earth's greatest guardian, that it holds the consciousness of all within it, that it does indeed light the flame within every cell of life on your planet.

You have so little trust within you, because you are not connected to this energy as you should be. You do not know that it will return in full force soon enough, and that this small retreat that the sun makes is actually your will on earth, that it is Gaia who is retreating from the Sun, and that it is you who are retreating from the Sun, from the brightness of Source Energy, because your fear and your dis-trust pushes your self away.

You yearn to create more comfort on your planet, and yet when it begins to warm a little, you cry out in fear of global warming. So in response the Sun tunes itself down, and then others cry in fear of an ice age. You must trust. Trust that the darkness of winter will not last forever. Trust that you will have all the warmth you need. All the food you need. All the fun you need. If you want to see growth, focus on growing your soul within your breast. Focus on growing your heart, so large that it fairly bursts from your chest, so open and full it is with love. Be as the sparrow who stays behind in winter, trusting that there will be food when it needs it, a warm perch to sleep on when the snows blow.

You are blessed. The spirit of giving and receiving is upon you. You have created Christmas and Hanukkah and Kwanzaa and all manner of rituals and stories to remind you of what the deep winter is really about. Let the love flow through you. Give and give and give, and know that you can not possibly give more that you are receiving.

Archangel Michael is available to ALL beings at ALL times. As an Archangel, he is available to everyone for protection and healing, strength and guidance. He is one of the best known archangels, very powerful and well-loved by many. Call on him whenever you feel like you need some extra strength or fortitude, when you need some “ooomph” in your step, when you need to clear a space or are feeling vulnerable.

The Archangels are high-level energetic beings, very connected to Source energy, who never incarnate on earth as a human, though they have shown themselves often enough over the eons to humans, and they are capable of gathering their energies so that they have mass and appear as beings made of matter. They watch over Earth as stewards, caretakers, the ultimate guides and helpers. Like workers at an information booth, they are always available to lend a helping hand.

A Message about Cellular DNA Healing from the North Wind

For those of you living in the Northern Hemisphere, the North wind is one of your most easily accessed and greatest resources for healing and rejuvenation of the physical body, particularly on a cellular level and for your DNA. The North wind, originating far in the snowy realms of the North Pole, carries with it all the energies and ions of the aurora borealis, which is sent to earth by the healing intent of the Sun. These ions have the ability to pass through clothes and even your body, and activate your DNA to heal your physical body on a cellular level.

When the North wind blows, sand outside and lift your arms over your head, and turning slowly this way and that, and allow yourself to be bathed in its healing energies. This only need be done for one to two minutes to acheive beneficial results, though of course the more often it is done the better you will feel.

For those of you living in the Southern hemisphere, the South wind carries your healing ions. The closer you live to the poles, the more ions you winds carry, and the greater the healing effect of the Wind.

A Channeled Message for November, 2009 about the immune system and new alignments

Dearest Eden, Do you have a message for us this month?

We always have messages for you! Last month everyone's physical immune systems received an “upgrade” along with the hormonal secretion areas of the body. There will be a period of adjustment for most of you after such an intense physical change. Many of you are feeling poorly as your body naturally detoxes and shed the old cells, and as it adjusts to the new levels, vibrationally realigning itself. Do not worry. Do not fear. All is well. You are well. You are not being invaded by diseases, and no one is going to die whose time has not come. Be easy. Rest when you can. There are more changes coming, and you will need all your energies for them! More physical alignments, more vibrational upgrades, more energetic surges in your bodies.

Eden, Where do these surges and upgrades come from? Who is inputting and initiating the new information, so to speak?

No one other than your own souls, you own higher selves and inner beings. You are aligning with your true selves, and coming into the reality you have so much desired. You are ready. The time is here. You are in the birthing process, and your new selves and new lives are being assembled right before your very eyes. Do not despair when things do not appear to be going your way: trust that all is going to be exactly as it should be, as you would want it to be, and be JOY-FULL. When you are in that mind-set, when your mind is tuned into that joyful frequency, that eternal vibrational setting of creative acceptance, then you are naturally aligned with everything that you desire. Manifestation is but a trick of the mind: believe, and you will make it so.

How and why did Astrology come to be?

I recently requested a comprehensive and computerized astrological psychological reading. It was amazing. I don’t understand how a computerized reading system like this can be so accurate. It certainly makes me believe that the science of astrology can be very precise and accurate when done by a skilled practitioner. Could Eden shed some light on whether astrology was created by Source to provide these insights. I’m also curious if all of this astrology was created before there were humans wanting an analytical framework for assisting in our free choices and our understanding of ourselves, or whether it evolved through the desires of humans or other analytical beings from other places. I realize we have free choice, but wonder if this is provided for us to use as part of the framework of our choices and the framework for the physical aspects that we came into in our incarnation?

You come into the world as a physical being with an unlimited connection to your higher self and Source. Over the course of human physical history, man has become more shielded from Source information by the imprints of mass consciousness: Although you are born with full connection, you quickly adjust to the same level of connection as your parents and mass consciousness in general, which means, at this time, that there is not nearly as much communication between your physical consciousness and Source as there should be. You know that you have the “emotional guidance system” of which Abraham speaks, which at least offers some communication. This was created at the same time as physical incarnation. And, so, was astronomy and astrology. The two coexist and evolved together simultaneously. For the universe itself has NOT disconnected itself from source. It's patterning and design is plainly exposed for all to see, to read, to understand, to know. It does not hide from itself. And as IT (the universe) is one with Source, and as YOU one with source, so are you one with it. Which means that your pattern and plans and desires and inclinations are also plainly written there for all to see... if they know how to look.

So, no, humans did not create astrology. It merely IS. The information exists because you and the stars are one, because you and source are one, because source and the stars are one. If you knew how, you could read the same information in the light of the sun, the wind, the plants, the flow of the river, the sound of silence. Anywhere. Everywhere.

The science of astrology, the ability to read the stars, humans re-opened, re-developed, re-activated, that ability because they were dissatisfied with their disconnection from Source. They yearned to reconnect. And so the early pioneers of connectivity developed dream walking, astrology, shamanic techniques, and other “magic.” These were not “new abilities” but rather a reawakening. And there is SO much more, human! Still, with all this progress, you are barely connected as a group. But everyday more are reconnecting, and developing greater understanding of their true selves and potentials.

The newer computer programs that have been developed are accurate in their divinations because they are merely “computing” the data that the universe is putting forth. They are as good or as bad as the astrologers that design them to begin with. If the astrologer who designs a program has deep insight and understanding when reading a conjunction or a planetary position, and records it properly in the computer program, then the program will forever be endowed with the same height of understanding and insight. This is not magic. This is science being used to translate Source information for the human mind.

Can I Change Soul Groups?

I have connected with many people in my soul group during this lifetime, and they all have positive aspects but they are also all very difficult to get along with as a group. I find them energetically draining lately. I feel like I am no longer vibrationally aligned with their energy -- can I change soul groups? And can I do it now, or must I wait until I "die"?

Dear One,

Yes, your higher self has also determined that it is ready to move into another group that it is more vibrationally aligned with now. While you are incarnated, it is not usual for your soul group to change, as your higher self, or the remainder of your soul, acts as your anchor in the non-physical and if it is to shift too much you can become disengaged and confused. So the actual shift will take place when you "die". However, there is no requirement that you stay bonded with the other incarnations from your soul group in this lifetime. You are connected to a myriad of like-minded soul groups in this lifetime other than your prime one – this is what we call “overlapping” soul groups, where one or more individuals from each group resonate with each other and like to meet in lifetimes, but are not in the same primary group. (For more about overlapping soul groups, see the archives at www.edenisnow.com) There are many, many groups that you connect with. You will not feel entirely connected to everyone in an overlapping group, but that is not necessary or even expected.

Please know that your current group is very harmonious energetically, and gets very along well in the non-physical even though none of them get along here on Earth. That is OK. You do not need to keep them together. Groups do not need to connect throughout entire lifetimes or stay together all the time -- meetings between group members merely serve as energetic reminders, or tuneups, if you will. These encounters can help keep one on track energetically.

So yes, you are going to enter a different group when you leave the physical. All that is necessary is the desire: once a soul has a desire to change groups, it can and it will and it does. There are no contracts, and there are no requirements. You are a free being. You get to choose who you want to interact with. Always. In the physical and the non-physical. Release your self and embrace your freedom.

Now, stop worrying about your group and move on to individuals! BE with those who make you feel good. Discard the rest.

Soul Contracts

There are no contracts, only possibilities. There are more ways for your life to unfold than could ever be determined by contracts. Your soul came here to create, in joy and in love. It would never have bound itself with contracts or rules beforehand. There are NO limits. Isn't that exciting? Your soul was certainly excited to begin, to be where you are today. Isn't it wonderful?

Relax. Be Patient. Trust. Be joyful and playful. Love, Joy, Excitement. Say it again! LOVE. JOY. EXCITEMENT. If you are not feeling these three things today, then you are not in the flow, you are not connecting to source energy. Do whatever makes you feel these three things, and you will know that you are connected. And you will be well. That is all that matters.

How can we open up to accepting and integrating the higher frequencies of light and love in times when we are around others who might not be interested in anything but drama and lower frequencies?

There is not a single human on earth that is not interested in improving either their own condition or the condition of others. While this may not always appear in words or deeds that you can personally interpret or asses as such, it is true. Regardless of what frequency one is operating in, one can only aspire consciously to climb to the next higher frequency. Drama and contrast are part of what help create the higher frequencies, by igniting and fueling the desire to improve. While we, Eden, and others like us seem to you to be much higher in frequency that humans because we remain directly connected to Source, we are in fact no more divine than the lowest person or item on your planet. The creative struggles in which so many engage on earth are driving the evolution of your planet, and thus the universe, and thus the evolution of Source itself. How can we not love and accept and honor these beings? How can you not?

At the same time, we understand that you find it difficult to maintain the high vibration you are aspiring to when people and events around you “bring you down.”

The best thing you can do for yourself, for your experience on Earth, and for the benefit of Source, is to be in JOY. So when you are confronted by something you do not agree with or resonate with, do not get upset. Let it go. Just as you would be happiest if no one tried to confine your desires or tell you what to do, so will others best exemplify their own joy if you do not try to make them conform to the reality you are wanting. Be in the world, be of the world, but do not try to make everything in the world just like you. When events around you are unharmonious or upsetting, do whatever you can to reach a place of greater happiness. While you can decrease the frequency of certain unpleasant events in your life by cutting out interactions with certain people or the news, it is when you simply focus on the GOOD things in your life that the bad will wall away on its own.

We hear much talk of “old souls” and “young souls” and the idea that there are those on earth that come from souls that are somehow less divine and less part of Source than others. This is simply not true. All energy, all parts of Source, are equal. No part of the whole is less worthy or divine than another. And so while some pieces may be operating at a lower frequency in their body than others at any given moment, they are as much a part of you as is your own soul. For ALL souls are connected, ONE, and divine. We are all one. Focus not on the deeds and vibrations on single individuals, but on the ever evolving frequency of MASS CONSCIOUSNESS. It is here that you will find the greatest satisfaction, for you will see that it is ever evolving, ever heightening, ever improving and ever growing. It is a thing of pure love, for it is out of pure love that it derives, that you all derive.

A little about Mercury Direct this coming month

Get ready for action! The rhythym of the planets, or Astrology, is a physical tool that Source set up to help you navigate life on Earth. Yesterday, Mercury stationed direct after being in what was for many a particularly unsettly Mercury Retrograde period. So what now? Get ready to tie up loose ends and enact all those big dreams you wanted to put in motion last month, but just couldn't seem to quite get going as fast as you may have wanted. Because this is all happening in Virgo, work, health and relationships are the major issues to focus on. Clear away the old, and get ready for the new.

A Message for October, 2009

This month will see a continuation of the shifting you have already begun. Most of you will be feeling more relaxed and settled than you were last month. You know that things are changing, and shifting, but you feel much calmer now. You are at peace most of the time. This is a wonderful feeling, is it not. Even in moments of nervousness, fear or sadness, you are feeling an overwhelming sense of calm that dowses your tensions. You wonder where this is coming from, and we tell you it is coming from a greater connection with your own soul, or higher self, and thus to Source Energy. Source knows no fear. Your soul knows there is nothing that can harm it or reduce the validity of its existence. Your true self knows that you are one with all, and that everything you do and feel is a joyous and beautiful extension of the creative energy of Source. That is why you hae come forth onto this planet to exist on a physical level: to Create, and to propagate Joy and Love. You are the best that this universe has to offer, and your physical selves continue to try and judge the best of the best, but there is nothing to judge. Just BE. Be in the flow of your self, of your joy, and BE at peace with all that you are. Every thought you think, every action you begin, feeds the spark of Source, of God, of the world itself. You are all connected, and there should be no judging. Do not fear the perceived distortions and negativity you sometimes see in your physical creations, for as your consciousness grows so does the love and joy on your planet, and all that you wish to experience, you can and will, and all that you do not wish to experience, you do not need to. Do not try to block others from their desired experience, for in doing so you will only bring their experience into your own. Focus on your own desires, your own joy, your own creation. Ask your guides and ALL THAT IS to fulfill your desires. Trust and allow the energy of Source to co-create with your OWN energy, all that you wish and hope for.

Chest Cold Sweeping the Northeast

The feverless respiratory cold which is going around the Northeast US and rapidly spreading through schools and travel areas is actually a very, very mild form of the new flu. This “cold” has arisen in response to the overwhelming creative desire of the you, the people. Your mass consciousness has created your own healthy, no-need-to-be-tested, vaccine for the flu. This cold will make future cases of the flu you all fear even more mild than it has already become.

Be-ing in Joy

The most wonderful thing you can do for yourself in this life is to be in Joy. To enjoy. The more joyful you are, the more joy and abundance of fulfillment will manifest in your life. You know this already, we are not telling you something new, just something very very important. It would be best if you did not fall into patterns of fear and doubt, but as long as joy is the predominant emotion that you feel, the positive emotion will have a far greater effect on the manifestations you pull into your life than any negative emotions.

Life is a constant state of creation, and thus change. Each new accomplishment brings with it the desire to create and experience something new. This is what you came here to do. This is why you are here on earth. Do not fear this state of creation. Revel in it. Approach it like a game. What can you create next? It is sure to be beautiful. You are so loved, on so many levels. You are one with Source, and We support you in all things. Do not doubt that whatever you want most is forming, right now, right where you need it to be.

A message for September, about the 9/9/9 September Alignment, the mid-month financial crash some have been predicting and the month in general:

Ah, our dear human channel. You almost did not ask about the predicted crash, because you know there will not be one. Do not worry about it. Your perception of your markets is increasing in positivity, and so they will continue to grow. There will be some new discoveries this month, and in the coming months, both technological and political. They will all bring change. The technological changes will bring in a new way of approaching energy and production, and much goodness on earth will emerge because of them. The political discoveries will unveil truths from the past, and there will be much healing because of it. Some anger and sadness as well, but in general humans will recognize that there is an unfolding of the goodness in the world because of these new truths. The 9/9/9 alignment is no more important than many alignments which have been occurring throughout the years. You have had many such alignments over the last few months – almost every day at times. And the alignments will continue to occur with increasing frequency, because the more aligned you become with Source, the more aligned you become with the process of alignment, and the more it happens. The number 9 signals that you are nearing a high state of alignment. Will you be completely evolved? Will you feel complete on all levels? No, of course not. Then you would actually be out of alignment with your purpose as an incarnated human, which is to be continually evolving and creating and growing and improving. There would be no reason for you to be on earth. In fact, if you felt that way, you would cease to be there, and would find yourself back in the realm of spirit most quickly. What this alignment will bring you is a real sense that you have “leveled up” and raised your mass vibration. It will be noticeable to every being on earth, that there is an increase in the rate of your vibration. And yet, you will feel much the same, as if you were always this way, because you have been having similar alignments throughout the summer, and even your life. Do not give up hope, lightworkers, for you light the way for the rest of humanity. The brighter you shine, the easier it is for the world to reflect your radiance. You are blessed. You are well. Your dreams are but an alignment away.
